I'm surprised by all this because I was under the impression that Eubank and Hamed had a dust up, and that one twatted the other ( I believe that Eubank twatted Naz). I think the guy to ask would be J!, he seems to have the inside track on all things British boxing related.

      Lol

And yeah, it sucks that he hasn't fought a meaningful fight since then. One loss and he lost his desire.

          Barrera forever popped Hamed's balloon.
no hamed just said he was going to KO barrera for all the ******s across the world. he might have said something about barrera being catholic although i dont remember. anyway there was some strange weird **** that went on that night. first off hamed doesnt flip over the rope for the first time in his career, and then he really messes up and says the thing about Muhammed the very day before easter, and that pretty much sealed it up. anyway he should have come back i would have loved to have seen him come back and beat all these guys. i mean look at all the fighters he could of fought. pacman, morales, MAB, tapia, marquez, guzman, etc...

            'J !' doesn't know ****.

Anyway, yeah Naz and Eubank had a much-publicised spat at Heathrow Airport at Christmas 1997. Eubank was telling reporters that Naz copied his moves and reminded people that when Naz tried doing the Eubank leap over the ropes one time (he used it for his first 5-10 fights) he tripped and fell, and then that was the last time he used that leap and soon had changed it to a somersault. Naz was waving his WBO world title in front of Eubank's face and reminding him that Eubank was now fighting on HIS undercard (it used to be Naz fighting on Eubank's undercard) and that Eubank was no longer champion. Eubank flipped, and threw Naz's WBO world title across the floor of the airport, then Naz started jumping about trying to punch Eubank but Eubank dodged a haymaker then grabbed Naz's wrist and wouldn't let go. They had to be split apart. Afterwards, Eubank was sitting down on a bench crying.

Chris banks on Naz to say sorry

CHRIS EUBANK is demanding a public apology from Naseem Hamed for branding him a copycat.
British boxing's two most charismatic characters share top billing at Manchester's Nynex Arena on April 18. And Eubank has re-opened the feud which has already landed them in hot water with their governing body.
"One day I was watching TV when Naz said 'good luck to Chris Eubank, he's stolen all my moves.' I couldn't believe it. In the 50 fights I've had, I've jumped over the rope every time and never tripped.
"The man's called me a fraud and you just don't do that. You don't attack another fighter, especially when he's not even in your own weight class. Naz has apologised in private, but that's not good enough. He must apologise to all the people who saw that interview."
Eubank and Hamed, who defends his WBO featherweight title on the Manchester bill against Puerto Rico's Wilfredo Vazquez, were rebuked by the British Boxing Board of Control for a (
dust-up at Heathrow Airport after they both fought in Sheffield last October.
Now Eubank, in retreat in Cornwall as he prepares to challenge fellow Brit Carl Thompson for the WBO cruiserweight crown, has come out of hiding to admit Hamed's verbals get under his skin.
"He has talked about my nostrils being too big, that I am ugly and copy his moves. It's childish.
"Does it bother me? Yes. It's not nice, especially as I like the kid and have guided him. Naz used to call me up. He came to my wedding uninvited, but it was nice to have him there. He was such a nice kid and still is, as long as the camera's aren't on him."

But they kissed and made up..

Lol who knows what would of happened had he gone with that lunatic Mr Eubank when he was a kid, probably both would of wanted the limelight in the end and split. Naseems biggest everr mistake though was splitting with Ingle.

I've just watched his 10th pro fight on tape, he didn't use Eubank's vault over the top rope for that fight he used the somersault and it seemed as if he had been using that somersault for a while. And you'll notice I said that he only used Eubank's vault in his first 5-10 fights.

So what are you talking about?
