Agreed,
There is no doubt that Margarito can take punches probably better than anyone in boxing, whether you like him or not, but the excuse of the corner saying that they had discussed several times the scenario on which they would or would not stop the fight is ridiculous.
Both the corner and the referee should be a shame for not stoping that fight. They are suppose to protect their boxer even against himself.
If Pacquiao would had not felt sorry for Margarito in the last 2 rounds and would had continue to inflict the type of punishment he was giving, we would never know if Margarito would had lost that eye.Comment

exactly, and there are people here still thinking he's on top of his game after this masacre,i mean that face, marg's face the way it looked i've only seen it in rocky movies, hardly ever in real boxing, not like his looked,i don't think he'll ever be the same,it showed since his fight with shane,he's done,i mean yeah manny is fast and marg slow, and he's slow compared to shane, but come on,with roberto garcia? he looked awful..three fights in a row of looking terrible and people still say he's not done, not only did he look awful, but he took savage beatings in two of those fightsComment

exactly,he's very slow, but before they fought i though he had a punchers chance and the fact he can take a punch, but after the 2nd or 3rd round i knew it was over,he wasn't attacking like he used to,just go forward and throw a bunch of punches....he just looked even slower and older,of course pac is fast which helped him look invincible against a fighter on the declineComment

Not to rain on the hate parade but cheato said it wasn't shanes power that hurt him in that fight, he had trouble making weight.
Plenty of dudes fought that slow ass fool and got crushed by him. He's only thirty two. Lets see what he does for the rest of his career before we jump on the he's on the decline wagon. Seems like everyone is on the "decline" now a days. I wonder what everyone would have thought about about ali or sugar after they lost a fight. Seems like they handled their "decline" pretty well if u ask me. I'm not putting cheato in their class, I'm just saying, people are throwing out these terms pretty regularly now even if a guy is young or only has a couple of losses. Since when does a loss make u garbage? It's like one bad night and suddenly someone's shot or on the decline or this or that. Sounds a lot more like personal agenda then actual boxing insight.exactly,he's very slow, but before they fought i though he had a punchers chance and the fact he can take a punch, but after the 2nd or 3rd round i knew it was over,he wasn't attacking like he used to,just go forward and throw a bunch of punches....he just looked even slower and older,of course pac is fast which helped him look invincible against a fighter on the declineComment

Oh my.... Pac invited Clottey to engage and Pac's bruises were the prize for it. And who will be the equally fast fighter you mean? Name one. Ah.. probably you will insert Marquez or Mayweather or Berto or Tim....
Anyways, aint worry about it, let us wait and those fights will happen. 6 fighters more for Pac to fight b4 retirement.Comment
