At the end of the day Pacquiao is greater than Floyd.

For Floyd to be considered greater than Pac he has to either beat Martinez or Pac.

And, until that day Pac is clearly greater than Floyd. The only active fighter that can really rival Pac greatness is Roy Jones Jr and that is if he is still considered active.

I have been making those comparisons on here for a while now. The "quiet n*****" is always considered the safer more classy person. America is built on it whether we want to admit it or not. For all these boxing expert on BS, I wonder if they remember the quiet more humble Floyd. Mayweather's persona was a gradual transformation. It started with him simply stating that he thought he was the best and it ballooned. The media automatically jump back 40yrs to "who does this n****r think he is?" mode. I am not sayin that he is a boyscout by any stretch but he is far from the most infamous character boxing has seen. This was an excellent vid and it showed America's true colors for sure.

I think ppl are confusing best and great. Great has more intangibles other then pure boxing skills. Public perception, feats not yet done in boxing history, heart, and overall being bigger then the sport itself are all intangibles people look back at to measure a fighters "greatness". In pure boxing skill and boxing I.Q Floyd is of course the better boxer. But add in those intangibles Pacquaio well be perceived the greater fighter down the line, from where they stand at this moment in time. Floyd fan or not you cant argue that.
