I dug Sergio from the series but the Sergio that "fought" Shooga is dirt.......Yeah imma watch cuz it's boxing and it's free but maaaaan I hope he was just scared of Shooga's name and that's why he fought the way he did....and he actually brings something to this fight to begin the road to being credible again.....

      what's there to like?
he can be boring.......but most of his televised fights that people watched were good.....id say his only BORING fights were Mosley/Ruvalcaba...the Ayala fight too in the early rounds.

the Forrest fights were solid as was the Reagan and second Manfredo fights.

Termeliksetian/Manfredo 1/ Green were pretty good fights.

Totally agree. Just the fact that he's going from fighting an elite HOF fighter on PPV with Shane Mosely, to fighting on ESPN fighting another former "Contender" series fighter in Brian Vera - it should be a HUGE wake up call for Sergio. But he sounds more concerned about getting his respect from subpar performances rather then dedicating himself to putting on more pleasing, fan friendly fights.

Wake up Sergio - you're going backwards....

Mora does'nt even train to win he just trains to make the other fighter look bad. It's easy to make someone look bad when thats your plan. The other guy comes to fight you come to pretend and spoil. He disrespected Shane in their fight. He should've just fought him and see who is better. Instead he tried to stink out and make it seem like he's dominating meanwhile he was pretty scared the whole fight.

I thought Eric Regan wasn't that great. Sergio should have smashed that guy, who kept his head up and never moved it the whole fight. Regan's like a freakin flamingo with that head. Sure Mora won most of the rounds, but it wasn't impressive to me.

Forrest fights were ho hum to me, I thought Vernon was pushing the action and was the only reason the fights were interesting.

Manfredo V Mora 2 was a fun fight, I'll give that to ya.

yeah maybe reagan wasnt that good a fight.....

mora pressed the first forrest fight...thas why he won.....the more defensive he fights, the ****tier he looks, thats why 2 of his draws were when he got too defensive, whenever he opened up his offense, he stole rounds...
when sergio fights like a man, he is exciting.......that clavin green fight was the only thing that got me through the hopkins-jones 2 PPV.....

Both of the Manfredo/Mora fights were good examples of the real "Latin Snake". In those fights he was very emotionally invested in wanting to win. Now, he seems to fight without any passion at all, and prefers to play it safe to win, then to fight to impress.

It's too bad because not a lot of people know him from before the Forrest fights, they only know him from what he's shown from that point forward. And, that's NOT a good thing for Sergio. He's regressing, atleast in terms of entertainment value IMO.
