Do you guys remember Acelino Freitas?

The Brazilian Knockout artist which just retired?

I train in his gym down in Brazil. He´s got a 38-2 record, with 32 KOs, but I don´t think he got enough exposure as some others like marco antonio barrera or others around the world and he had sum real stone hands!

He´s an idol here in Brazil and i´d like to know what global boxing fans think about him.

Did he really just retire,I haven't seen him fight in sooo long!!I remember him being ahead in the Corrales fight & not liking Diaz's pressure he was fun to watch until someone gave him a good dose of what he was dishing out!!

No bull. I just remember him getting lost in the shuffle at lightweight a couple years back.

He was a good fighter who could ****.
It just seemed at the end he didn't have the heart to fight anymore.
His trainer said they're was something about him that made him not want to continue fighting. Do you know what it was TS?

Couldn't of said it any better. When the going got tough, he didn't have the heart to pull through. But damn! His girlfriend or wife was a hottie. I remember him crying like a little girl ater everyone of his fights I saw. I was like wtf?
