I met Mr. Briscoe when I was like 6 yrs old at the PAL boxing gym in North Philly....I remember asking my dad what happened to his eyes because they were marked and darkened....I didn't know about his ring wars...I just knew he was a former boxer.....even before I got a chance to meet the man, I had already heard of him....my dad and uncles used to always mention that name....I don't know about noone else....but just SAYING the name Bennie Briscoe gets the Philly blood in my veins rolling.....I've said it over and over and over again....I LOVE MY PHILLY FIGHTERS!!!!.....RIP Mr. Briscoe

When Marley put --->Valdes beat back Briscoe thrice....¿What does that mean? My guess is he wanted to say that Valdez(with a z) beat Briscoe twice & it wasn't back to back(if that's what he meant)cause Valdez 1st beat Briscoe by TKO 7 in 1974 & then by UD15 in 77(3 years apart)..
