Well he's been slipping in terms of footspeed since the Oscar fight and lately i think his reflexes have slowed. Walking Pac down is dangerous.....walking any southpaw down is dangerous....their advantage tends to be greater if you are walking into them.
If they do fight Floyd's diminished footspeed and reflexes means an entertaining fight, whereas if it was the Floyd who fought Baldomir he might just move around and throw right leads for 12 rds.
Personally (and this is just my opinion) i think Floyd isn't fighting that much lately because he knows he is slowing down and he's not quite as good as he once was. His father has also stated recently that he has lost some of his speed.
Floyd is a very smart fighter, who knows boxing and it's history......it is a very very smart fighter who can recognise their own decline.Comment

If manny was right handed floyd kills him. Easy fight. Being a southpaw it will be tougher for floyd to roll. With his minor slowdowns I see a tough fight that would really depend on who the judges are. Judges style preferences would play a big part in this fight. Manny is slowing down as well, only natural at thier ages. Still see a floyd win as long as he gets a tune up first.

he retired twice only to come back and remain undefeated by beating an undefeated ricky hatton, beating the number 2 and 3 p4p fighters in a row, and he defeated the guy manny is about to fight, and at 147, the undisputed ww champion--floyd dominated him and manny will have problems with shane--watch and see---floyd lost only 2 or 3 rounds, which is a stretch against the number 2 and 3 p4p fighters in the world---and manny won't even fight jmm unless it's at 147---now what? who has manny fought in his last 5 fights? has beens, losers, terrible winners, and out of prime fighters---
