After the Klitschkos retire... Seth Mitchell and Deontay Wilder will take over the division.
Anyone familiar with Seth Mitchell (pretty good looking U.S. HW prospect)?

he's 6'2 and 244 pounds? i don't call that in shape. that's how much the klitschko's weigh. prime foreman weighed 220 pounds. these guys are all bloated whales with concrete feet. easy targets for the klitschko's to bludgeon. some of these guys might be in body building shape but fighting shape nope.Last edited by daggum; 12-28-2010, 11:03 PM.Comment

Not if the cubans and europeans have something to say about it.
I think Seth looks decent so far, better than Wilder IMO, but he's older too. He's the same age as Chambers but Chambers is already much better, IMO Eddie is the only american with a chance to do something big in the post-Klitschko HW division. He could beat Haye too if given the chance, but Haye won't fight anyone dangerous that could derail his cash out against the Klitschkos.Comment

Eddie I feel can be a player in the post Klit era. But I don't see him exciting the public and I don't think he'll ever be looked at as either "dangerous", "must listen" or "must see"...but he'll be a top contender...and possibly even a belt holder..
I am still liking Seth Mitchell...I am really only concerned with fighters who love the sport and want to be something great...and not just make money and not be dedicated...I understand it's a tough sport and fighters are prize fighters...meaning they fight for money to live...but we've had a slew of great champions who show a passion for the sport and being great...not many show that desire...
Seth Mitchell I believ does thoughComment

I saw dude on a local card here in DC. Was in against a cab driver/ tomato can type but he was decent but needs work and seasoning. Could make some noise if brought a long right and trained properly. IMO he is a 1 1/2 to 2 years away from being a serious threat.Comment
