The good thing is for Maidana is I believe he is endorsed by Golden Boy. Not sure but I would have to check.
But surely the casinos and the networks want a good show that will draw in high audiences and put bums on seats in casinos?

Regardless I think Maidana is Goldenboy I dunno how to check but I think thats what happenned during the deal to fix this fight.

They both would have had an extra fight on HBO,and Devon would have defeated an St louie rival..I'm happy they are fighting now tbh but I do see what Timmy B is saying is all..

Devon was too hasty in taking this fight. Bradley wanted to wait to build up the fight for big bucks not that 1 million is nothing to sneeze at. Devon kept calling him out, finally Tim agreed.

I remember not too long ago everybody was calling for this
fight. I understand him too but this is their time to set the
stage for bigger things for the rest of the year. Don't make
sense to continue to prolong the fight. What if one of them
lose before meeting? It's good to see two undefeated fighters
with titles going at it. Their young with more to their careers
so as long as they are fighting and making a name then the
          big money comes.

ur pushing the semantics a bit here - you said witter was title holder and ranked #1. he DID hold the WBC belt but Hatton was THE #1. at best Witter would have been #1 'contender' or overall #2 ranked fighter but i still don't think he was #2 ranked JWW behind hatton across all the organisations or indeed using a generic system such as the Ring mag. i'd love to see evidence to the contrary to prove me wrong but i just dont think the UK had the #1 and #2 ranked 140 lb'ers at the same time

if bradley beats alexander, then their is nothing which could stop this fight from happening.
a fight in england isnt a bad idea at all, i dont think if bradley outpunches khan he will be robbed..

Witter was ranked num 1 at Jr WW when Bradley beat him..If you are the. Champ you are not ranked you are the champ..When Pac beat Hatton he was the Champ with Hatton Ranked num 1 until Bradley beat Holt, then Bradley was ranked num 1..After Bradley defeated Witter he was ranked I believe num 4 because of how big the win was over the num 1 ranked fighter..
