Tarver's defense won't allow Jones to knock him out. In the 13 and a half rounds they fought Jones couldn't really land any clean shots to Tarver's head.

This fight is very close but based on thier last performances I give Tarver the edge as well as the mental edge knowing that he has knocked Jones out before.

Plus it doesn't hurt that Tarver has never been knocked out in 26 fights. I almost have to assume if Jones wins, it's by decision.

I want to give the mental edge to Jones in that he's got to have Tarver thinking right now with all the silence.... there's always that 'what if' factor. that's especially the case in this fight.

Tarver Is Soft Around The Midsection. All Roy Has To Do Is Concentrate There. Once Doing This Tarver Will Be Done Within The First 6 Rounds. He Will Be Exhausted. If Roy Boxes And Keep The Fight In The Middle Of The Ring He Will Definitely Win This Fight. Its Hard To Say By Knockout Or By Decision But My Gut Is Telling Me By Roy Wins By Knockout 7th Round.

I can't stand RJJ, but I would really like to see him win this one. I don't think his skills are gone either, it doesn't seem like a pro fighter with skills like his who stays in shape would see their skills diminish that quickly, I think there was more to it than that, like he fought differently or something. I say he comes in this time to make a statement.

That's the only real effective shots Jones landed cleanly in the first fight and it didn't slow Tarver down.

I watched the tarver - johnson rematch and from that I have to say Tarver KO RJJ .

He is gonna pressure Roy and he is going to let loose with flurrys.

He is going into this match with good confidence and something to prove again. He knows RJJ is shot, and he is using this to promote his worthless career.

I like RJJ , I would love for him to KO or UD Tarver by a huge margin but the facts just don't point to it.

RJJ is coming off two KTFO losses, Tarver has a plan , he has the confidence, he has something to prove. Yes, it is true that jones has a lot to prove too , but I just don't think tarver is scared of him or has any respect for him anymore. He is not gonna box RJJ he is gonna get in there and **** RJJ up BIG TIME.

My prediction is tarver is going to frustrate RJJ with consistent pressure, and fast flurrys, he will eventually catch RJJ and it will be another KO win for Tarver, and the end of RJJ for good.

Roy's best chance is to box from a distance and win a decision.

Tarver will not win this fight!!!!!! Yeah he knocked Roy out last time with a Perfectly Timed and Perfectly executed Punch. I dont see that happening again. But i can see Roy Dominating. Body work is where Jones will Win this fight.

I can't. How do you see RJJ coming back and beating tarver by domination?

I said it before I will say it again, I would love to see RJJ beat tarver's ass.

But man, he is coming off two HUGE KO losses, I mean HUGE, Tarver is coming off a win over the road warrior and he knows he KTFO RJJ in their last meeting.

Roy was supposed to be there that night, he was supposed to hand tarver a beating like no other, instead, he got KTFO.

Do you think RJJ in his prime would have let that happen?

RJJ has not had any tune-up fights, and he is jumping right back in with Tarver. It's just not a smart move.

I can't see RJJ dominatiing this fight in anyway, all I can picture in my head, is RJJ enduing up just like he did in the Glen fight, laying there like a helpless school girl.

If you look at the first fight, all Tarver tried to do was to steal rounds in the last 30 seconds of each round, something Leonard was made famous for. I don't think Roy jones was "shot" in the Tarver and Johnson fights, but he was definetly on the decline. Roy Jones is going to win by UD or TKO8. I hope Tarver's big, ugly martian sized head swells up, and the towel will be thrown in...at least this way Roy Jones gets his pride back, and we hopefully won't see anymore of the lazy, ugly junkie known as the MAGIC MAN.

On a serious note though, I think RJJ wants to avenge this loss, no one wants to lose twice, when you lose, it make you work that much harder (trust me i've been there). He's going to avenge his loss and silence all the critics, and then retire (hopefully), and stay with his commentating job on HBO.
