BoxingScene.com has been advised that undefeated junior middleweight contender Vanes "The Nightmare" Martirosyan (28-0 17 KOs) will be returning to the ring on February 5th at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. The fight versus an opponent to be determined will headline a Top Rank Live card that will be televised by Foxsports Espanol (not sure if on english channel).

awesome 2011 is going to have fighters i want to see near my area i live at. i am only about 40 minutes from rancho mirage and the fernando vs nonito fight only about 2 hours from las vegas and if saul fights in l.a only about 30 minutes or less. keep the fights coming this way

Bruce and Bob know Vanes is past his best before date, and can't find a way to get him to a main event without getting him stopped. Cotto would have looked ****** carrying Vanes,even Chavez stops him easily. John Duddy? 50-50 fight. There's just not many names out there near the top that Vanes beats.

if bob and bruce trully thought that cotto would easily beat vanes thats the fight that would be happening instead of the mayorga fight. As for chavez jr, thats laughable as top rank has privately admitted they would never feed chavez to vanes. Go learn a thing or two about boxing.
