How did Marquez prove that he couldn't hang above 140? I find this justification for him being passed over by Pac troubling.

-The only person he's ever fought above 140 was Floyd-who is arguable the best welterweight. Name a fighter between 140 and 154 who wouldn't lose to Floyd on that night.

-He and Pac are just about the same size.

-He looked slow against Floyd because he was in against one of the fastest boxer of this generation.

I say let Marquez be the judge of his own destiny, never question a man's will and heart.

Those are my feelings as well. People hate Floyd and this is just another example of haters discrediting his win over JMM. The main reason for it is because obvious comparisons were made against Pacquiao. Let Manny fight JMM at 147 and I bet Manny doesn't dominate him the way Floyd did.

I picked Marquez over both and even pick Marquez over Pacquiao in the rematch. I don't hate Marquez at all but he has no business above 135.
