Soto vs Antillon was probably better, I'm watching it again right now, I'll confirm when it's over.

There is a difference between " will he " and " should he " .

How can you give that award to Marquez who simply fought 2 Lighweight Contenders?

Marquez should prove his worth by fighting Champions from Lightweight(Soto); Jr Welterweight(Khan) or Welterweight(Berto)

Whereas, Pacman, after his 2nd fight with Marquez, fought Champions from Lightweight; Jr Welterweight; to Welterweight; and won the Jr Middleweight against Margs an ex champ.

It is not Marquez's fault the champions won't fight him and it is not a big achievement for Pacquiao to beat paper champions.
For someone of Marquez's caliber it is a great example of bravery to take on all comers , as young , bigger than himself and dangerous as they may be and beat them as convincingly as he does.

Khan-Maidana was easily, EASILY, the best fight of the year. No question. Wrap the book. Done. Instant classic because two flawed but extremely talented fighters got into the ring and exposed one anothers' flaws and proved eachothers' skills.

                That's the definition of FOTY.
Those fights were both one-sided if ya ask me,a FOTY should have back and forth action..Khan was hurt in the 10th but that was really just about it,Khan dominated for most of the fight..It was an exciting and fun fight but I have to say Perez vs Mares was a better more competitive fight..
