50/50 fight. montiel is inconsistant, but donaire fights midgets.
How much of a chance do you give Montiel against Donaire?

Wouldn't go as far as shot but badly faded he was and fairly old for a super flyweight. But just look at the HH fight, noone can tell that the man is not dangerous. He may be overrated a little, hes a big name in the division, guys like Agbeko and Moreno are so underrated.Comment

Donaire will probably be too slippery but Montiel has a chance. He is not a bad counter-puncher himself and he'll probably be presented with opportunities to counter the counter, as it were, and as we know he's got some power and knows how to put a fullstop on a fight when he smells blood.Comment

Your talking like Montiel has more power than Nonito, I don't think so. Both are relatively equal in terms of power, however Nonito moves better and is the more dynamic fighter.Comment

I'm not sure if Donaire moves better, Montiel had a reputation of being a boxer. Lately he has been know more for being a puncher with all the KO's he is getting but earlier in his career he moved a lot and well.
And, Montiel is pretty dynamic himself also.
The only reason why I give Donaire the edge is speed and size. But, if gets into a war it would be interesting cuz Donaire chin will be checked if that is the case.Comment
