It should be Campillo-Henry for the mandatory shot at Cloud.

You are quite right. Griffin is no. 8 and Mack is no. 10 in the IBF ratings. Campillo as no. 4 and Henry as no. 5 are the highest ranking available challengers.

But the do go low to find participants for all these "eliminators". At heavyweight, Derric Rossy is no. 14.

So a guy who got KO'd by Johnson in 6 in his last fight (Mack) is being put into an IBF eliminator with a guy who got KO'd in 2 by Marcus Oliveira last year (Griffin).
          Classic alphabet bull****.

It's also based on who is available and willing to take the fight. A lot of guys who are rated higher may not want the fight or have other bouts lined up. That is how eliminators happen when it isn't between the two highest rated contenders, but rather the two highest AVAILABLE rated fighters.

Lightheavyweight is a garbage division. It's worse than 160. Lol.

I know Henry is hot and all, but Mack is the last guy to beat him which warrants him getting the shot...

Losing to Johnson after winning 5 in a row over similar type contenders including Chris Henry and Daniel Judah (who was coming off of a win over Johnson) is nothing to hang your head about... He was actually beating Johnson on the scorecards but decided to get brave and stand in front of him in the 6th and got caught with some big shots
