you must be a huge cotto fan if you think mayorga against him is a good matchup,,the man's last win against a known opponent was against a fat,washed up vargas over 3 years ago,mayorga fights only once a year,his last fight before this one against this unknown he just beat was over 2 years ago....if you think your answer to my post was an intelligent one,...lol.

I doubt anyone would be complaining if this fight was going to be on HBO. Since its in Vegas I'm going to try to go depending on the price of the tickets, if I can't afford that I'll just watch it at a casino. I can see it on PPV but only if it cost like $25 or $30 I would pay to watch it simply because it won't be a boring fight and its going to end in a KO either way. But seeing as how Top Rank are some greedy bastards and they charge $45 for a ****ty Latin Fury card I doubt this fight is going to do more than 300k or so, as it isn't even an HBO card with their promotion behind it I don't see many casual fans buying this.

According to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, junior middleweight Pawel Wolak could face either former world champion Yuri Foreman or ex-titlist Joshua Clottey on the undercard of a Top Rank pay-per-view on March 12. The main event features Miguel Cotto defending his WBA 154-pound title against former world titlist Ricardo Mayorga. The card takes place at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.

Hope they give it to Foreman. Yuri boxes circles around Wolak.

Just hope they dont keep it in house to match Foreman with Clottey, that would be worse then Mosley vs Mora, the two would throw 20 punches a round each, terrible style matchup.

Foreman got the heart, and a fighter like Wolak will force him to throw punches, much like what Cotto did.

what are they thinking putting wolak in with either of those guys? if they want him to be the star they wish/hope for, they shouldnt put him in with guys who can box or have defense

I can see it already. If Wolak wins it will be another tune up for Cotto and his stans will be saying "he needs to get his confidence up" bullshit.

That won't happen because Mayorga is that confidence builder. We all know Mayorga and Margarito don't have an ounce of boxing skill in them so it's a great tune up.
