It is time for Berto to fight a top welterweight. He has run out of gimme fights. A fight with a Kermit Cintron or Joshua Clottey level opponent will give us an idea where he fits into the grand scheme of things. Without a signature win Berto can forget about the marquee fights he wants against Pacquiao or Cotto.

Berto has only himself to blame for failing to eliminate Shane Mosley from the Pac-Man sweepstakes. I completely understand him pulling out of the fight following the earthquake in Haiti, but he had a second opportunity to fight Mosley. Berto allegedly priced himself out of the fight and negitionations fell apart. Mosley went on to fight Sergio Mora and looked horrible fighting the Latin Snake to a draw.

After Cintron jumped outta the ring in the Williams fight it's difficult to take anything he says seriously anymore.

"When it comes to fighting real welterweights, he's the invisible man!"

GL: I know why you're calling. What would you like to say in response to Andre Berto? "First of all Berto calling me Superman is a privilege. Superman is my favorite superhero and I'd rather be Superman than the Invisible Man, which is who Andre Berto is when it comes to fighting a real fighter with power. I'm here to keep calling the Invisible Man out to see if we can get him to show up against a real welterweight. He brought up what happened in the Williams fight and told you what he thinks, but does he think anybody forgot how the old Mexican Cosme Rivera dropped him at the end of the round and then his gloves mysteriously ripped and had to be switched in between rounds? He probably would have gotten stopped in the next round because he was out of it, but that 4 minute rest allowed him to recover. To me that's worse than falling out of the ring against Paul Williams. And that's the fight they learned he can't take a punch and they been matching him very, very carefully since then. Like I said, the guy is a joke and a paper champion. The only welterweight he fought was Collazo and I thought Collazo beat his ass.

"Then you ask him if I'm not top competition for him, who is and he comes back with the lightweight champion and junior welterweights. Is he a welterweight champion or a junior welterweight champion? If he thinks fans wants to see him fight a mandatory or another junior welterweight he's nuts. He fought like the smaller guy against (Juan) Urango because he was scared of his power and scared to exchange. Stop making excuses Berto, all you did was sound like the paper champion you are. Show the fans you're ready to accept challenges inside your division. Fight a real welterweight who can punch and test yourself. Prove yourself because right now you haven't proven anything other than you can steal money from HBO ****ty uncompetitive fights. Fight somebody who has a chance, when was the last time the Invisible Man did that? Collazo.

"And like I said he's never fought anybody with a chance who can punch, so I don't know why they even try to keep him that Pacquiao mix because based on what he's done he definitely doesn't belong in the discussion. If Carlos Quintana is hurting him with left-hands in the first round, what does he think he can do with Manny Pacquiao? He should have to earn the right to get knocked out by Pacquiao, and right now all he's done is get overpaid to fight bums, because it ain't like he sells tickets to deserve the money they give him. I want to help HBO stop overpaying guys like Berto so they can spend their money to showcase boxers who want to fight the best.

'I'm going to keep coming back on ********** until he says he's going to fight me or admits he's scared. He might not come out and say he's scared, but if he keeps making excuses like the last interview, the whole boxing world will know he's running. I've met with him a few times face to face and every time it's the same kind of excuses he made to you. Stop making excuses and step up to the plate. And since he's the shot caller, there's nobody to blame but the invisible man for not making it happen."

GL: Where has this Kermit Cintron been for the last several years?

Kermit Cintron: "I'm not known as a guy who likes to talk a lot Greg, but these guys are leaving me no choice. I feel like if I don't speak up, I'm not going to get the fights I feel I deserve. I want to fight the best and I'm willing to prove myself, Andre Berto wants to fight the best of the best and get the big money without fighting anybody and that's not the way it should work."

          GL: Closing thoughts?

KC: "I want thank ********** for giving me the chance to say what I gotta say. I'll be talking to you soon unless the invisible man disappears."
Cintron is just spiting those truth bullets at him,in this case Cintron is totally right..

Say what you will about Kermit Cintron, this guy has consistently fought the best opposition available. Despite two TKOs to Antonio Margarito, the guy had the balls to get in the ring with Alfredo Angulo, Sergio Martinez, and Paul Williams.

Now what would Andre Berto's record be if he fought a prime Margarito, Angulo, Martinez, and Williams? I'd say 0-4.

              make the fight hbo.
If Kermit doesn't do anything dumb in the fight to get DQ, I say he wins this fight.

This fight needs to happen. Berto needs to fight tougher comp and defend his title against someone like Cintron.

                    Easily.

All by k.o too and he'd probably be retired by now.
