Just because we saw him get hurt with a body shot by a 17 pound heavier man while he was in an exchange doesn't mean he's vulnerable to body shots.

If you had said uppercuts or something then maybe you would have made more sense cause we've seen that he's vulnurable to uppercuts in the clottey fight
i was going to say uppercuts....margarito and cotto landed a few aswell....i dont know why boxers have not cottoned on to the fact that pacquiao seems open to the uppercut and should throw them more often...

The times he got KTFO was to hellacious body shots and Marquez regularly punished him to the body in their fights. You have to slow down speedy or you will have no chance. Sounds easy but one problem, pac hits back.

Why because Margarito banjo'd him with a great one?

That would have stopped a lot of opponents.

manny isn't flat footed, so it's hard to land bodyshots. Opponents have trouble landing bodyshots because feet have to be set in order to land good bodyshots.

A good place to land bodyshots is inside of a clinch, manny sucking at clinches is the cherry on top. None of his recent opposition knew how to play the clinch game for ****.

only time you can land body punches on PAC is when he's on the ropes..that's about it.

Boxing like playing chess, but the only difference is that you feel PHYSICAL PAIN when you get hit while testing your theories.

And thus with Pacquiao's "openness" and "porous" defense it also meant one thing, it is meant for his opponent to open themselves up and be the target of Pacquiao's machine-gun-like with multi-angled combinations.

Frequency, complexity and power...those three that Pacquiao's opponents have encountered within the last three years now.

And so while your main premise hold true, specifically with Margarito...look how much he has to endure before that became a realization?

Broken Orbital bone and deep cuts in both around his eyes.

Pacquiao isn't defensive in the same manner with Mayweather with his proficiency NOT TO GET HIT. Pacquiao's "defense" come in the form of the offense, meaning to annihilate his opponents with smothering combinations of punches from various angles.

So far, it was only Margarito in recent memories who was able to do that...Mosley is certainly strong but odds are stacked up against him because he has no more stamina, age factor and then some.

Mosley's real chances are in the early rounds. Pound Pacquiao and following up on him.

That's a very tall order because Pacquiao is pretty nimble to evade those with his footwork and the very active and offensively aggressive Pacquiao would be the thing to deter that plan (let alone there's 12 rounds of boxing).

Another issue is the HEIGHT LEVERAGE.

Margarito doesn't fight very tall, meaning he doesn't know how to use his HEIGHT and REACH. While Mosley is miles ahead of Margarito on those two attributes just mentioned, landing those uppercuts to a smaller AND nimble person who is very active IS very hard to do likewise.

Don't get me wrong, Mosley will land punches. But chances are Pacquiao would land more than what Mosley would ever hope to land on Pacquiao.
