Freedie Roach is a very good trainer but Mayweather Sr is completely right about Khan when he said that Khan started running away from Maidana's punches after the second round. I was there and saw all the action but when I saw the replay at home I was able to see more and Khan was a horrible fighter. He ran like a chicken and grabbed Maidana's arm more than 45 times in the whole fight. The referee was horrible as well by not letting them fight at close distance and separating them all the time; that was an advantage for Khan. Maidana did very well and began dominating from round 3 but he really missed that knockout on the 10th round. Let's see how they both do in future fights. I hope they fight guys similar to their own styles.

One thing Freddy Roach hasn’t done, is improve Khan’s defense, I couldn’t believe how easy Khan is to hit, Maidana an exciting fighter to watch was slow, yet he hit Khan more times than any other fighter I’ve seen, after the fight Khan looked batted, Maidana didn’t seem to have a mark on him, Khan is an arm puncher he doesn’t have the power to trouble any of the of the top lightwelter’s, Devon and Alexander must rubbing there hands

It's a sure sign that Khan is becoming a legitmate threat when the Mayweather clan start dissing him.

For the record I think Mayweather is in a different league to Khan now. But I stil think Amir's speed and accuracy would give him some problems. Floyds inactivity could also level the playing field.
