Ordinarily I'd say he didn't deserve it, but after his last fight I'd say he's worth every penny he asks for. The guy took hellacious punishment and would most likely take loads more against Adamek (minus the knockout). It's not like the guy's gonna dance around the ring or go down from the first flurry he gets hit with. He's gonna take his licks like a man and dish them back out again. Peter's at the point in his career where he needs to maximise his paydays and I'm glad he hasn't resigned himself to the post of whipping boy just yet.
