Margarito was applying "pressure" but was eating solid shots and missing a lot. Don't be fooled by the fact that he was "chasing" Cotto. He was also chasing punches to his face for his troubles. Did you watch the fight?? Cotto was ahead by 1 round going into the tenth round. Take the plaster and the toll it took on Cotto for the 1st ten rounds and it is VERY likely Cotto doesn't gas out and cruises to a decision.

That's Clottey's style though. He's a cautious fighter when he's in danger. Just like Cotto starts running away and folding when he's in pressure.

I'm not gonna lie I was dissapointed in Clottey's lack of heart in the pac fight mainly because I know that he had a chance of winning if he fought a little harder and took more chances.

One thing about Clottey though, he's a better fighter than cotto but hasen't got the same recognition because he doesn't have a strong fanbase on him and can't sell PPV's like most other fighters who aren't half as good.
Look at my man Agbeko. This guy has the heart of the champ and is probably the best fighter in his division deserves to be a millionare by now but just because he happens to be Ghanian and not Puerto Rican he's getting around 200-500k a fight when it's clear that his skills surpass most of the fighters around him.

I think Puerto ricans are loyal and good fans but you guys hype your fighters up a little toomuch sometimes.

clottey took no chances vs pacquiao. he kept catching manny by surprise imo because pac was use 2 him just standing there and blocking. he does things better then cotto but i wouldnt say he is better then him. clottey is more then a cautious fighter, he doesnt fight at all bro. he blocks 80% of the time. cotto ran from pacquiao because he took some blows, got knocked down 2x and tried 2 make it 2 the end after round 6. clottey went into that fight with the intentions of not getting knockedout therefore he choose not 2 fight at all and just block all night. abeko is different from clottey, he actually fights. mares and he should be a great fight.
