Here is the bottom line kid.....1) Two runs? His run is comparable to someone else going thru the amateurs and Pros. Look at Floyd. He was able to keep his speed from the time he fought at flyWeight up to 154. Do you consider that su****ious? I don't and I don't think that you do either. It's all relative though as his speed just had to be better than his opponents.
Don't be naive, Manny's " second run " started when he was 30yo.
Marquez vs Manny at 130 was a good fight. When it's CLOSE like that and both fighters get cut and the momentum changes back and forth, you will hear commentators give both fighters good points at times and bad ones at times. Of course every fight is different.
STOP!! I am not talking about who the commentators thought was winning that fight, I am referring to the condition of Pacquiao.....
A second run, starting with Diaz, gaining another 15+ lbs of muscle in less than 18 months and ripping through three divisions whilst improving his speed and power? Whilst - coincidentally - refusing random blood tests?
And this is after commentators stated during Marquez II that Pacquiao "is fading..... he looks like he's been in too many wars".
Please.....
About the commentaries: When Manny moved up to 130 and fought Morales for the 2nd time, when Morales was winning the fight during the first 6 rounds and the commentators THOUGHT Morales was going to win AGAIN they said, Morales may be too big for Manny. Manny is really a 126 fighter and so on. A few rounds later, Manny changed that conversation around quickly and you know that what came out of their mouths was ALL GOOD for Manny. This is on the SAME FIGHT! Did Manny take PEDs between rounds?

With those runs that Manny had, you always need to take into consideration that Manny was always improving. During the Morales years, they tried to improve on Manny's right hand, his movement and his stability/balance as he would always come rushing in with his power left in the early days. He doesn't do that nowadays. It's harder now to know what Manny will throw at you offensively.

2) He can retain his speed and it is amazing. Like I said previously, Floyd's speed has been quite good even when he went up to 154. It is also relative. Manny's speed will look even better against a slower Margarito. As stated above, same with Floyd against and part-time boxer named Oscar.
3)
I said about your comments " in this thread Manny is amazing and it must be the PEDS and in another thread you guys say his opponents were drained, shot and so on ..."
You said, "Nope. I have stated previously that Manny's resume' is not only manufactured, it is likely fraudulent as well."
very confusing UPPERC .... if Manny's resume is so sub-par, then does he really need to be on PEDs to do it? That is how its sounding when you make these 2 statements. It's like you are just adding unnecessary nails on that coffin just to make sure that you give no credit to Manny. Just saying but you can elaborate if you wish.
That was childish dribble, attempting to " talk " me out of my opinion
Congratulations: This is a better post from you UPPERC. No name calling and even though you don't agree (completely), you kept it civil and stuck to your boxing opinions.
Oh..... but before we go there, let's clear something up first......
" No name calling and even though you don't agree (completely), you kept it civil "
I don't have a politically correct bone in my body kid.....
..... if you act like a dishonest ****, then you will be called one.
And, hard luck..... if the cap fits, then you will wear it.
You have chosen to be extremely dishonest on previous occasions, and you know it, so don't cry just coz you got my standard " dishonest poster " reply.
If I add up 1 + 1..... I come up with 2.
1 = Gaining 12lbs of muscle in 9 months, whilst ripping through three divisions, gaining speed and power.....
+
1 = publicly refusing random blood tests, and citing 6 absolutely ridiculous reasons why
=
2 = Manny is probably taking epo/hgh
The point is this...... I have the absolute right to assume whatever the *** I want, because Manny will not take the tests.Comment

WTF ?How can you say that for a fact that the commission is flawed?!! Are you from the commission??!! A first-world commission using a first-world lab in a first-world country like the U.S.of A. is being questioned here, WTF is that??!!! The USADA is also an american company, how can they assure as that their method is not FLAWED!!! You are no different from Roger Mayweather accusing Manny of taking an Ancient Filipino drug that will enable the user to withstand 45 caliber bullets, WTF is that??!! And to say that this 500 year old drug is undetectable with present day, state of the art methods of drug testing is completely ABSURD and ******!!!
What was that dribble all about ?
FACT:
* OST's are HARMLESS !!
* OST's will be mandatory within a couple of decades
* OST's are mandatory NOW in ALL top amateur sports, incl boxing
But this is the main point.....
* Currently, if an amateur athlete avoids or obstructs an OST request, they are JUDGED GUILTY, by the sanctioning body, and by the public in general.
THE SAME WILL HAPPEN in a few years, because OST's will be mandatory at that point in time.
In the future, boxing fans will wonder why Manny insisted upon a cut-off date. It will seem bizarre, because.....
a.) there is no such thing as a cut-off date for OST's
b.) EVERYBODY will be taking OST's as per regulation, at that point in time
Tell me ALG.....
Team Pacquiao gave a total of 6 ridiculous excuses why Manny would not undertake random blood tests - which is a fkn joke. Requiring 6 different excuses means that none of them were genuine, they just didn't want to submit to random blood tests, simple as that......
Which one of those 6 ridiculous excuses did you believe ?Comment

Roach made it clear that Pac was not ready for a fighter like Mayweather and Khan just recently stated that Pac is not mentally ready to take the tests.
Khan's not helping his case with all the PED talk. Especially saying he's not ready when Pac's team CLAIM the second round of negotiations failed because they "AGREED" yet Khan's saying Pac isn't ready. Who's lying?
Floyd agreed Pac didn't first round, Pac said he agreed second round yet no proof and now here it is almost 2011 and Khan's claiming Pac STILL isn't ready to take the tests??? Again who's lying here? Everyone bashed Floyd because Pac agreed and Floyd went on vacation yet Khan's stating Pac isn't ready so how could they have agreed if even now in late 2010 Pac's still not ready to test? Is he really that paranoid? Afraid of needles? Superstitious or what ever else the other excuses where? I don't get it....
Either way we now get to hear Bob Arum contradict himself for the next 4 months trying to tell us that Mosley isn't old and that its a great fight because Mosley hit Mayweather 2 times in one round out of a twelve round fight. I guess that makes Mosley at 39-40 years old dangerous. It took Mosley to leave GBP's, lose to Floyd, Draw with Mora and probably sign a contract to fight UNDER the banner of Top Rank in order for Bob to say "YES" to. Yet people STILL are ignorant and blame Floyd Mayweather who again agreed to everything Pac "demanded".
Any fool can see when Floyd agreed to pay $10 million for a weight penalty he was dead serious about taking the fight. Was Bob Arum? Bob is a proven (self admitted) liar who has an agenda. NOBODY can argue that.Comment
