          American fans are quite critical and not loyal. Even exciting american boxers like Roy Jones jr, Shane Mosley never had a huge following that could sell 1 mln PPVs fighting good opponents. If you lose, large part of your american fan base will leave you. So today US fans follow the guys who are familiar to them and who was successful.And we can name only two boxers Manny and Floyd, Cotto's fan base is more based on ethnical fans.That's what i guess.
