I don't know who's p4p list you were looking at but Mosley hasn't been near the top for almost 10 years now. Beating Margarito blinded alot of people to how crappy he looked the previous 5 years.

@mic573: Uhh yeah SSM was widely regarded as p4p #3 prior to his matchup with Floyd. In case you don't remember try looking it up. Here are some lists to refresh your memory:
          http://***********.com/showthread.php?t=1575
dan Rafael also had ssm ranked #3 at the time. Too bad manny was already locked up with clottey at the time berto/mosley collapsed because I'm confident Pac/mosley would have matched or surpassed pbf/mosley's 1.4M.

Now that Shane hasn't won in 2+ years he's a much weaker B side than he was when he hooked up with Floyd.

I wanna see him fight Berto to which I think he will after this fight when the Mayweather fight never gets done, but that kinda shoots a hole in your theory.

If your going based on numbers, the money is made with the casual fan, and Mosley will still bring more of the casual fan to the fight. The only people who really know who Berto is are real boxing fans, and that would have hurt PPV sales more.

Berto should fight Marquez, that gives him the opponent and the exposure he needs going into a fight with Pacquiao to make it a bigger fight next year.

TRUE, but he struggled, get hurt against them, and a fighter so good like Floyd shouldn't against guys like Judah,Corley or Spadafora in a sparring session, shape or not.
no he didn't, thats like saying he struggled in the Mosely fight

One dimensional? Come on man. Pacquiao is many things, but not one dimensional.

Anyways, I didn't think that the fight was ever going to happen anyways. Floyd doesn't want it, Arum doesn't want it, Pacquiao may want it, but he no longer needs it. There's no urgency anymore for it.

I don't think he is. Pac doing less numbers and fighting opponents Mayweather already beat is not going to get Team Pac a 50/50 split...especially knowing they'll come in with other demands.
