lol, i can't believe all these years on these bull**** stories are still being spouted.

1- when a boxer is knocked out of the ring he is allowed extra time to make it back in.

2- benn got no help making his way back into the ring. a few hands went up as he was knocked out to stop him falling onto the announcing tables but that is all. he made it back into the ring of his own accord.

I know. It's a shame the sport has so many ****ish fans.

A fight is stopped when a boxer can no longer continue. Obviously Benn was fine as he climbed back in the ring at 9 (with still extra time remaining) un-aided, and fought his way back into the fight. Round 2 he took control.
It's a huge insult when so-called fans like to make up BS excuses as to why a fight should have been stopped and the eventual loser should have won by a technicality.
These are the same ****s that think Firpo should have won the Dempsey fight because one of the press guys pushed Jack upwards because he landed on top of him. Hardly Dempsey's fault. Never mind the huge beatdown Dempsey puts on Firpo.

It's like for some people, the actual fight seems less important than some added bullshit.
