Pacquaio can hurt JMM, and when hurt, will probalby KO him. Or Nacxho stops it if his face looks like Marg.

I agree it was an easy fight for Floyd. Neither of them had close odds.

True point on the 54 fights. Got me there.

It's not just how much they sell, it's how much is asked.

If they sell over 500k, JMM wants $5 for each one. That is a lot. It could be 2.5 Mil if they hit 1Mil.

I also do not feel people will buy JMM VS Pac 3 over Mosely. The general audience probably feels that JMM does not have the KO power to beat Pac nor does he belong at 147.

It's gonna be hard for Pac to KO Mosely, and Mosely has a better KO chance at 147.
Maybe I had a typo but I aint mean to put he ko'd mosley. my bad

JMM has also hurt Manny in their fights, for whatever reason his wobbly legs kept him up unlike JMM.

Mosley can get up to $7 Mil for his fight with Manny. If JMM asked for $5 Mil and $5 for a 500K PPV he'll only get $7.5 Mil if it goes over the 1 Million buy rate.. But people seem to think JMM is not a draw and his PPVs with Manny haven't hit 1 Mil so there shouldn't be much of a concern for a possible $2.5 Mil.

You can build a 3rd fight with Manny-JMM 3 better than you could a Mosley bout. Controversy with their first 2 fights, excitement, action packed and The Mexican Assassin vs A Mexican Warrior. 3 fights with the possibility of the 3rd having the final tally at 1-1-1.. Meaning a 4th and final fight if JMM was to pull off the impossible and stay on his feet for the entire 12 rounds and win.

I see both of our arguments though. I just don't feel Mosley is a threat to Manny after 3 rounds whereas JMM's tank hasn't showed signs of slowing down whether he's ahead in the fight, on his back or against the ropes.

I agree Mosely is not a threat as Berto, but JMM just isn;t at 147 to me either.

Looking at the Pic of apc at 130, he was so thin. He ahd mroe speed but he didn;t have patience to box around.

Now Pac has put on weight, a little slower but tiems better and moves around. He also doesn;t always go on the attack when hit like before, he soemtimes waits. He tiems when he does come abck and he also does it that it out performs and impresses what his opponent does.

Maybe JMM can sell better than Mosely, I do not know.

JMM has been dropped by lesser fighters and Yes Mosely proably does not do anyhting over 3 rounds, he may stay up. I can;t see JMM taking the shots that Pac dishes out, and JMM isn't good enoguh to make Pac miss all of them.

Pac has been hurt at the lower weights, but at 147 his legs are thick and so is his body. I belioeve he was dehydrated in the past thus didn;t always KO guys etc...

I would be surprised if JMM and Pac sold at 147.

If Mosely beat Juan Diaz and Katsidis, I woudln't be impressed and give him that shot.

Berto is the man, and I feel he should have got it, but he sells less I guess?

You are a very logical poster. Breath of frh air in here.

      A typical ***** wouldn't say ****.

Good talk.. and I also agree that Berto should've gotten the shot. This would've been a great time for him to step up in competition and really test his mettle. Unfortunately, his name is just about as big as Sergio Martinez's name was before his first fight with Paul Williams, so yeah it wouldn't have sold anything.

I see your points loud and clear and even agree with some of them. But as the old saying goes, Controversy Sells. I believe a 3rd fight on Cinco de Mayo weekend would've been great for casual and hardcore fans to buy.

Honestly, why talk about Floyd when he's not in the picture. He has legal issues, let him settle all that mess first then get back in the fight game(if his heart is in it - which I think it aint.)

but props to you on this talk.. Good luck to both Mosley and Manny. I hope people can talk about other things in this sport instead of the usual Gayweather/Duckquiao mess that seems to dominate the board

Good to see some sensible posters on here.
I would have loved to see Berto as well but I have also been wanting the 3rd fight with JMM for a long time now.
You both have reasonable outlooks. My feeling is this: Mosley may have wobbled Floyd, but eventually he quit against him, fell out of it mentally and gave up physically were Marquez wasn't able to do much but was still trying hard the whole fight so JMM gets more points in my book.
IMO wins against Diaz and Katsidis are more impressive than the draw with Mora.

And at his age, Mosley may have a harder time cutting down to 147 than Marquez has going up.
JMM has a better chance than Mosley IMO because he knows Pac as well as anybody Pac has faught. He has the style that can overcome Pac through twelve exciting rounds rather than Mosley who has little more than a punchers chance within 3 Rds.
