The fights signed, nothing he can do. If he wants to fight Cotto he must be nice to Bob. Still wont happen. Bob wants Pac vs Cotto II @ 154 next year and Berto could mess that up if he put Cotto in there with him. Arum wants nothing to do with Berto let alone Mayweather. Its clear as day. He will keep everything in house as much as possible. Matching the best is not the agenda and Bob has made it pretty clear that he doesn't want to deal with Mayweather. Seems he's going along the same path with the WBC WW Champion too. Too much of a threat I guess.

I'd like to see Martinez v Cotto and, or Berto v Cotto this year.
Neither has chronic ACL issues and I'd like to see Bob's stable lose a belt-holder.

Both are good match ups but Arum wont allow this. Ol' Bob already has an agenda set regardless of what happens.

berto hasnt please the fans well, but u have to give him and is team credit for their finacial accomplishments.. berto has been getting paid at least 800k for each of his hbo appearences if im not mistaken... thats damn good for fighting so called nobodies..

I hope berto can find a way to get his name out there a lil more. After shane and jmm, there is nobody left besides berto and the Bradley/alexander winner. I really wanna see berto/pac in november. He needs to get some more star power if he wants to be a serious option though. He should do all he can for a cotto fight or maybe jmm. Just do something big to get some love.

i like bertos style hes a very good fighter and thats the reason pac was to scared to pick him cuz he can give him a bit too much trouble,hes a good counter puncher and too be honest with i dont think pac can even hit him if they faught and hed get countered all night long
