I'm sure what Bob means is Marquez fights Berto and the loser gets to fight Pac.

Regardless of why Bob wants them to fight, I'd watch Berto vs Marquez.

NO cotto/margarito/cintron/collazo/clottey/berto that's ***ing 6 prime ww waiting to slap his monky ass 3 years ago!

Such a ridiculous F'ing fight. ****** to even being brought up.

And, of course Dibella likes the idea. Even at a catch-weight of 144 he says it is up to GBP and JMM.

Did you just call a black man a monkey?

          Anyways ...

Floyd beat Hatton, Oscar and Mosley before Pac. I guess those Pac wins don't mean anything. His only real fights at 140 or higher are Margarito, Cotto and Clottey.

What you're arguing is that because Floyd has a bad resume at WW, that Pac is allowed to have one that's not quite as bad.

Yo its not about who you beat to earn a shot at Pac. Common sense they are either Top Rank fighers or ex GB fighter. Arum calls the shots and he is been very effective selling these fights.

Pac as the choice to drop the belt and not defend it. Same like Floyd's choice of not getting the belt from Shane because he doesn't want to pay the sanctioning fees.

yeah...Marquez must make a statement that he can compete against a good fighter at higher weight..This is the time to fight Berto and prove that he is competitive and worthy to fight Pacman at higher weight....Don't go back at 135 and fight faded and shot Morales...Its time to move up and make a statement...for Berto its time for him to prove or test himself against a name opponent...The winner will have a chance to fight Pacman...if Marquez opted to fight Morales instead of Berto, then Marquez is only looking for a big and last retirement payday against Pacman...

question: how much does Pac way during fight nights when he was featherweight, lightweight and JR welter? He weighs around 144- 147 which is obviously at WW. whether its 140, around fight night pac will just weigh as a welter. Same as marquez.

Pacman has been fighting bigger and stronger fighters in Hatton, De Lahoya, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito...
Marquez only fought and had a shutout loss against Floyd, nothing follows.....
Marquez should fight either Berto, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito.....

I'm a fan of Marquez @ lightweight, but welterweight he's harmless, let's see if he can handle Berto.
