The winner will clean up the middleweight mess by unifying those coveted "Interim" and "Silver" titles. Immortality beckons!

If this gets made...I believe Zbik wins by UD unless the fight takes place in Mexico

Zbik doesn't have a punch so chavez won't have to worry about the flu.........Chavez sure know's how to play the game

Zbik is ranked 7th in the world by Dan Rafael, he is far from a bum. Infact for Chavez its a high risk fight with little reward from mainstream boxing fans who don't now zbik

Obvious choice since the guy can't punch. Chavez is a fraud, I just hope he doesn't taint his father's good name

You're right, but of course Universum set up Zbik for an interim title and he never fought anyone in the top 25. He's held the "title" for more than a year and he still hasn't fought anybody in the top 25. As limited as Chavez is, he would still be Zbik's best opponent. But Zbik, who is at best a lower top 20 middleweight, is a better boxer than Chavez. If this fight is in Germany, Zbik definitely wins by UD. Zbik might win the US too

Chavez will beat Zbik, the way i see it, Zbik will have to give a great performance if he wants to win, i have watched several Zbik fights, and i really was not impressed at all, he disappoint me a lot in his last fight versus Heiland the argentinian.

Chavez has a great chin, and after he tastes the punches of Zbik, he will not respect him at all, and will make the fight a slugfest, Zbik really doesn't know how to fight in that kind of situation, so Chavez will win on points or by late TKO.

Great matchmaking by Arum, and i think they went the Zbik route instead of the light middleweight fights because Alvarez will probably fight Senchenko for the Title, and they don't want Alvarez boasting that he made if first.

Both are decent fighters. Zbik has better technical skills, Chavez has a bit more power.

Neither is a top 10 middleweight. Zbik is between 11 and 15, Chavez is between 16 and 20.

If the fight happens, Zbik will probably deserve to win a close decision. But Chavez wins a decision if it's in the US or Mexico, while Zbik wins a decision if it's in Germany.
