    Referee/judging

    What is the average pay for referee or judging fights im thinking of putting in an aplication.

    This doesn't answer your question, but I would love to be a judge. Is it something you can make a career out of? What are the requirements? How do you go about becoming a judge?

      I don't know either but it is something you can keep doing well into you senior years and that may be part of the problem with bad decisions how can a 70 year old man actually keep up with the fast paced action and score it accurately.

        You go to like the Nevada state athletic commission or wherever you live and send off an application just go on the nevada state athletic commision website and see. Or New Jersey. You may not live in that area but just an example

          They have eyes dont they? I'm sure they probably go through eye exam's and such.

              Well of course but tests I don't know I am just saying I would be more comfortable with the 40 to 60 age range I mean they should have experience and boxing knowledge but it just seems like some are too old.
