This coming from a fellow pinoy? Just because hes the current p4p king doesnt mean he needs to fight everybody. I understand what you feel, but knowing that youre also a boxer(amateur, right?), you should know that boxing is not as easy as many of this so called fans think, Give Pac a break bro. You know whats disgusting? youre saying all this **** just because Pac chooses Mosley over JMM or Berto, Cmon, Pac is not retired yet so its not too late. It just happen that Manny is not a god so he cant fight all those guys in the same night. He can still fight them as long as Pac is active in the sport. Besides hes not going to fight a bum or any unknown boxer out there for you to say all these stuffs against him. Again, just give our Pac a break bro. Just my opinion.

Aren't the Pac fans always the ones who say "you have to beat the best in order to be the best" when you are criticizing Floyd's choice of opponents?
Now when Pacs getting criticized you say give him a break?

bro me being a pinoy has nothing to do with it. im a boxing fan, pac could be an american for all i care and i would still criticize him the same way. i gave him a pass for choosing marg and i just cant take it that after marg hes now fighting mosley. and yes im an amateur fighter and i know very well that pro-boxers deserve to get paydays and this is one of them but pro-boxers should also give the fans the fights that they wanna see. is this a fight that real fans wanna see? i dont think so. i got no problems with fighters looking for paydays, but not payday after payday. as a fan, i watch boxing cause i look forward in seeing a great matchup, not because the fighter is getting paid this and that

Aren't Pac and Mosley getting their biggest guaranteed career payday?

I am not too trilled about the fight but in the words of Floyd himself, "whos losing out when your make millions or dollars". And if you put yourself in their position its understandable.

And in terms of legacy its not actually a damaging fight, its just not enhancing it, unless Manny actually manages to KO him of course.

what pisses me off the most is team pac wanted absolutely nothing to do with mosley after he KO'd marg cause according to roach " shane doesn't bring enough money to the table". but after an ass whoopin from floyd and lookin like shit against mora all of a sudden " he makes since financially". GTFO

                  Belly aching .......................

The Pac/Shane fight might not be the most ideal one out there but other than Floyd everyone that Pac chose would be a step down. Having said that, Mosley is the best financial option for Arum right now and will get Pac another huge paycheck

its true that cotto brings more money to the table bro. miguel sells gate tickets and has a massive puerto rican following but this time around its different cause pac fought clottey who has 5 fans in the US and they could have tried to negotiate more with jmm

Lots of hardcore boxing people whined when Margarito was chosen the last time out. But no one who paid for the PPV or saw the fight live complained that they didn't get their money's worth in terms of excitement and thrill, most especially the casual fans. Mainstream media were also raving about Pac's spectacular performance after the fight. More so than any other fight this year, including Sergio's.

It seems to me that, to the eyes of these non-boxing people, boxing was far from dead on that particular night. How is that bad for boxing?
