You must be new to boxing because there have been much bigger upsets than Haye knocking Wlad out. Anything can happen but I believe Haye doesn't have the balls it takes to take the fight to Wlad. Haye will be trying to counter, while Wlad will be jabbing and using his reach advantage and keeping the right distance. I basically see Wlad out pointing Haye and winning a UD. I can't see Wlad knocking out Haye because Haye doesn't take chances. If there's a KO, its because Haye caught Wlad with a good shot but I doubt it will happen.

            1. Wlad is the most cautious fighter in the history of the sport. He spent 12 rounds with a 208 lb Eddie Chambers who had absolute 0% chance of hurting him. Emanuel Steward basically had to question his manhood just to get him to throw. If Wlad wont take a chance against Chambers, I doubt hed do it with a man who has BOTH the power and speed to hurt him.

            2. Haye is also very cautious. He will not even get close to Wlad for the first 6 rounds of this fight. He will treat Wlad as he did Valuev/Audley and not even attempt to get inside. Haye has shown that booing from the crowed will not deter him from his gameplan.

This fight will come down to the last few rounds, where both guys become live dogs. If we're lucky we'll see a knock out, but I wouldnt be surprised if it went the distance. Hometown decision for Wlad, with Haye claiming robbery.

            I hope Im wrong, though.
it would funny as hell if the second most anticipated fight in boxing turned out to be that boring

and honestly, I think your prediction is very likely to materialize if they ever fight

if Haye fights the way you anticipate, he will lose a UD

TS is 100% correct, it will be boring because Haye will press the fight even less than Eddie Chambers did.

Haye does not take a punch well and his style has been dreadful since his move to Heavyweight. He fights off his back foot 100% of the time just looking for a single right hand counterpunch. He does not jab, no combos, does not work his way inside with any skill.

Wlad has long been a victim of opponents who lack the desire and toughness to engage him and try to force him to fight. Haye will be no different.

Wlad isn't the most exciting fighter in the world. Obviously. However there has never been even a single round in his career where he threw as few punches as Haye did for all 12 rounds against Valuev and the 1st two rounds against Fraudley.

Haye 12 attempted punches per round avg against Valuev and Harrison.

Wlad... on the other hand, I challenge someone to find a single round in any of his fights where he attempted less than 35-40.

I agree with what max kellerman said

the heavyweight division would be better off without the klitschkos

I'm hoping haye is the man to save it

I'm not looking for a barnburner in this one, or in any Klitschko fight. Haye's been ducking for so long anything will do, so long as he gets in the ring and fights the man. If it happens, I'm anticipating another match where Wlad jabs, holds, occasionally drops a right hand, and takes the guy apart slowly. Issue with this fight isn't entertainment at this point, just the fact that it's overdue.

                    This is total sense.

                    Haye winning is not impossible.

Nothing is impossible if you want to get all philosophical.

Haye stands a slightly better chance than Wlad's past opponents, but not much better.

Haye has no faith in his cardio at 220lbs and he fights at a snails pace cause he knows his gas tank is Jermain Taylor-esque.

Haye is a weight lifter, he doesn't do the real training that it would take to beat Wlad. Haye is a guy who used to do his roadwork on a treadmill lol.
