I don't see how he ducked Cintron. Cintron was a proposed fight with December. Cotto, coming off surgery, couldn't get up for a Cintron fight. Just wasn't big enough of a fight for him to rush back.

The Berto fight is not feasible because of the money. I can give exact figures as to why that fight cannot happen.

But yet the rest make business sense?? Common man!! To me, Cotto is looking just like Pac.

HBO has a limit to what they will put up for a WCB. They're not putting up more than 3.75 million for Cotto vs. any of those fighters.

Cotto will want more than 2 of that, probably 2.5

Berto will want 1.5, maybe more. And I DOUBT they put up 3.75 even.

Arum can pay the other guys smaller guarantee's and Cotto a bigger one plus gate and PPV upside.

In terms of just business....Cotto-Berto just isn't practical until Berto starts taking the pay cut he needs to.
