Mayorga is a tough dude with a great chin. He keeps coming and throwing those haymakers. Anything is possible and I don't think this is an easy fight for Cotto at all. It took Tito 8 rounds to KO Mayorga. Cotto doesn't have that kind of power. I like this fight and I also like Mayorga and his crazy energy.

ok its a tune up fight but he didnt fight again this year because he wasnt interested in fighting chavez or cintron and wanted a bigger fight. so now i hear he is gonna fight mayorga in march as a tune up. im really not thrilled about this ****.

Imo opinion this is a perfect tuner.Forget legacy on this fight.Most ppl say cotto's mentality weakened,yet is this is these are the only fights that could very well boost his confidence and carry on to the next fight.I didnt mind vanes,cotto would of cracked another O.but top rank wont allow it.

1.Berto overpaid.Denied.
2.Cintron leaped,looked fake on tv,and would the casual fan wanna pay to see him again? I dont discount cintron,with his reach and power.Had cotto blasted him out the water your ass would of gotten back on here and rant on how cotto beat a paper frog.Denied.
