Basing off Berto being the #3 rank fighter in every respectable rankings...Basing it off that he has actually won a fight at WW in the last 2 years. Basing it off that Berto, is prime, undefeated, and a title holder.
By the time Pac-Mosley happens. It would be 27 months since Shane had won a fight at 147.
GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!! And, I'm a Pac fan but is not a good fight at all.Comment

I'll admit Shane hasn't looked too good recently, but EL OH EL at people making out like Berto is something special.
If the guy picked his ass up and had gotten a couple of fights against top 7 welter weights he could be in position for a Pacquaio fight. A Clottey, Margarito, Mosley- someone of that calibre.
The guy's best wins are Collazo and Quintana- B level fighters. If Berto made moves to improve his status/draw in the boxing world, he'd gt the Pac fight. As of now he brings d*ck all other than an undefeated record to the table.Comment

I'm a Mosley fan, but I have to admit he has seen his better days. Mosley hasn't mentally adjusted to his physical abilities at this age. Despite all of that, he still presents the best challenge at welterweight. A Cotto rematch wouldn't prove anything because styles makes fights and Cotto's style is handmade for Pac. A Margarito rematch could seriously injure Margarito, and a Clottey rematch would just be outright boring and they couldn't sell tickets for that fight. Mosley is still a big headliner in boxing and would generate the ticket sells the industry needs. In addition, Mosley poses a threat to Pac early and depending on how Mosley weathers the Pac storm, he could pose a threat late as well with body shots, a flash left hook, or an accumulation of right hands. Mosley probably won't win the fight but it is the best and most exciting fight in the near future...hands down.Comment
