At the time Floyd fought Oscar, he was ranked #5 by the ring. You need to look at the 2006. Which basically shows the beginning of 2007. And, since Floyd fought Oscar in May it is a better gauge. And, if you look nobody who was ahead of Oscar at the end of 2006 did anything from Dec 06-May 07 to get dropped in the rankings.

So try again.

And, at the end of the day Oscar was not the best at the weight-class. Lets just call it what it was a money grab. Nobody turns down Oscar unless you're Winky Wright.
