Pacquiao fought Morales 3 times after losses. He fought Morales when he should have fought the guy who beat Morales in raheem. I guess he'll fight Raheem after Mosley since he is old and not looking so impressive as of late.

pacquiao fought larios after losing to Vasquez. I guess this is when the trend of pacquiao fighting fighters on the downside began.

pacquiao fight Diaz instead of the man in nate campbell.

pacquaio fights oscar at a weight he hasn't fought in damn near 10 years.

Pacquiao fights cotto at a catchweight of 146 and makes him put up his title

Pacquaio fights Clottey after losing to Cotto

pacquiao is scared of needles and or drug test

pacquiao fights margarito after a suspension, being wrecked by Mosley, and a t yet another catchweight of 150 for a 154 lb vacant title at a weight that neither pacquiao nor margarito even campaigns at.

pacquiao has now agreed to fight Mosley after getting throttled by Floyd. This the same mosley who was too big and too good prior to mayweather. lol!!!!

Pacquiao is as of yet not made a single defense at 130, 135, 140, or 154. Not a single 1.

walt shouldn't even mention mayweather in the same breathe as pacquiao. pacquiao can't hold Floyd jockstrap and he knows it. That is why he keeps on fighting Floyd's leftovers to try and validate to himself that he is just as good as Floyd

Manny, next time take the test and find out if your as good as Floyd by facing him!!!

oh i do understand...and i do agree on the mental aspect

however, i dont agree that it applies to Shane and Floyd

i was content on letting it go but since you insist on patting yourself on the back, i just wanted to point out that Shane has taken worse and isn't a mental midget like Judah and can bounce back

floyd did well against a man with a bad back

and Shane came back to fight a much bigger guy with a much smaller name...you'll have to pardon the letdown performance

Third, we didn't need to see EM III or MAB fight II when Valero and Guzman were champions. Now Berto won't sell is the excuse... When Floyd used those words, he was vilified lol...
your "statement" was conducive to making an argument.. Don't sugar coat it. Making your second statement moot.

Third Point: of course we didn't "need" to see those rematches, but that doesn't make them any less creditable. We didn't "need" to see JMM go up 2 weight class just so FMJ would screw him over on the scales.

I want the Berto fight too, I want the JMM III fight too, I want the FMJ fight, but the problem here is that we don't get to chose what fights get made... But the point of the OT is how FMJ fans can ***** at Pac when FMJ isn't doing **** and was guilty of all the same stuff....

The fact remains that it is a cyclical issue, and what one side does has a direct effect on what comes back. People like to talk shit so shit gets talked back.

So when one sides does stuff the other side defended or talked **** about there are always retributions.

Then those hurt feelings lead to more bullshit.

It is probably to the point that even if people tried to give credit where credit is due and not just get on others nerves it probably wouldn't even change that much but we could at least try that rather than going down the same road again and again.

A definition of insanity:doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

This forum fits that definition of insanity to a T

very true. but I've been staying out of the manny/floyd mix for months, since I gave floyd his props for the shane win (i admit I' jumped in an out of a few adult discussions).

but I've been ready to go once this shane fight got signed.

just made a quick stop with the other set of fanboys before I start in on the other set. especially cuz i had a different opinion of manny up until the last couple fights

i could do the exact same thing cort for every fight of floyd's post rematch. that's my point exactly, but its been done to death.

that's about the 10th time my point's been proven in this thread.

It will be the same but with different people taking up different sides with different people upset.

Floyd and Manny are so intertwined with how most people currently think that an opinion on one means they hold the exactly opposite position on the other guy.

It is a fairly good example of mob mentality.

Be honest, you guys aren't pissed at the fight per se...you guys are pissed because Team Pac has taken the only counter arguments (old man Mosley) you guys have been riding for Months to discredit what you guys deemed as Floyd's best win.

As i said before, i have been following this sport for 25years and i heard everything being said about Pac being said about countless fighters. What we need in the sport is not tear down fighters but to build them up and demand accountability from the promoters. We have ppl who are fan of certain fighters stalking the internet boxing forums like rabid animals attacking ppl's race, religion, sexuality and preferences, except discussing boxing. We have ppl who co-sign and encourage these childish behaviors instead of standing up against them then have the nerves to call fighters cowards. We have administrators allow racial thread to go on instead of bumping them immediately in the name of having "hits"

Boxing is a dying sport not because of the fighters, promoters, or media; boxing is a dying sport because the fans lacking respect and integrity for themselves then conveying
those negativities of themselves onto the sport. Boxing is the only sport now that i see an athlete get crap for winning.
