Word has spread that Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent will be three-division champion Shane Mosley this coming May 7th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mosley informed BoxingScene.com's Lem Satterfield that he reached a deal after sitting down with his manager James Prince and Top Rank promoter Bob Arum on Tuesday. Pacquiao will be returning to 147 pounds to defend his WBO welterweight crown for this contest.

i agree for the most part

i can see mosley really pushing pac but falling short like he did in the cotto fight. if mosley was a smarter fighter instead of a willing warrior i'd pick him to upset pac.

hell, if he actually listens to ****m in between rounds i think it really betters his chances

I'm one of those die hard Shane fans and I believe he has a chance at winning this fight, if he can somehow muster up his performances prior to his last two fights. But I'm a realist and believe that his abilities have diminished.

I'm still pulling for him and hope I that he can pull up, just once more, the old Shane. Pac had no shot at beating him in his prime. Why do you think Roach wanted no parts of him before his last two fights?

uuhhh no, not going to happen. Should be a pretty good fight though, shane still has power and speed, it sure as **** wouldn't be the biggest upset I've ever seen.I'm not as down on the fight as I was a few weeks ago, I still think shane would eat up jmm. If it's between the two, give me shane. I don't think jmm would make it past 3, five at the very most before it'd be sleepy time. But I still would have loved to see berto instead.

Nice to see it's at 147, don't wanna hear about catch weights for a while. All the *****ing and complaining has taken a lil away from the sport the last few years. Seems like everyone's crying about something or another.
