that's because Floyd's style is a BOXERS style, Manny's is a FIGHTERS style. Floyd engages but for the most part his strengths are used to keep you off him, to control the pace and dominate you over 12 rather than sit there and **** with you and try to catch you in the line of fire while at the same time putting himself in the line of fire like Pacquiao.
Pacquiao doesn't really think too much about anything else other than war, his style is built for that, he LOOKS for a war while Floyd DOESN'T look for a war he looks for dominance, he is not trying to exchange with you he is trying to hit you and not allow you to hit him back therefore it causes for more movement to come out of him and skills unlike Manny whom has a style that invites you to come in and hit him and he will just hit you back much more and harder
the 2 different styles make it so that 1 engages more than the other but it doesn't mean that the one who engages more has a better style it just means he has a better chance to land a bomb but an even bigger chance at having someone with some Boxing intelligence land an even bigger bomb on him. it's not about Floyd and Manny only, take a look at this past weekend and think about Bernard Hopkins and Jean Pascal and you'll see it's the undeniable truth
