If Manny and Mosley are fighting for the 154 pound belt, why then are they speaking about a catchweight of 148. people always seems to talk smack about mayweather or enjoy just dismissing his accomplishments, but manny is full of ****. All his titles have come by catchweights. What is that man? I want to take your belt away from you but in order for that to happen, you must come to me, st8 bull****! manny is protected to a degree and it is now showing.

Can someone please explain why everyone is getting so hysterical over this? So what if it is at 148 for the 154 belt?Isn't the increase weight only going to be befitting Mosley? If the fight was taking below 147 then i can see a problem.

I think the main fact here is, he should not be fighting Mosley in the first place, regardless of how the fight is spun.

You shouldnt be allowed to have a title fight at a catchweight..how can you be 154lb champ and wont fight at 154? If youre going to fight at a catchweight thats fine but dont make it a championship fight just so you can make more money.

I'm just tickled to death at those who are making a play to have Pacquiao
fight Mosley at 154. They are probably the same people who want Pacquiao
to fight Marquez at 140.

These people don't want Pacquiao to fight Mosley at 147, or fight Marquez
at 144. Those are the weight where Mayweather fought them both.
They don't want Pacquiao fighting Marquez at 144 and Mosley at 147 because
they fear that Pacquiao will annihilate the two opponents at those SAME weight.
It would once again prove why Maynever does not want any part of Pacquiao in the ring.

Everyone knows it's coming, Manny is going to show Mayweather just how superior he is when they fight the same opponent. Mayweather refused to be weighed at fight night against Mosley because he was much bigger.

Pacquiao is going to weigh in below 147 against Mosley. Pacquiao will show that even being outsize by Mosley he will do better than Mayweather did against Mosley.

I think you're missing the point here... people don't want to see Pac fight Mosely at 147 (actually, according to this article at 148) for a 154 title. It's a flat out farce when they could go down 1 pound for the 147 title.

But I still think people should calm down for now, this is all just speculation and inuinidos at the moment. People are already blaming Pacquiao and he probably doesn't even know anything about it. TBH, I have to agree with those saying that it sounds like the WBC just wants the sanctioning fees. Let's hope that greedy ole Bob Arum doesn't agree to this nonsense.
