Too bad for Breidis Prescott that he's never been taught to utilise his assets properly.

I don't see anything wrong with this statement. A fighter like Prescott only gets lucky like that one time. He can be happy to hang his hat on KO'ing a young Amir Khan. No need to get himself smashed up in a rematch.

Whether or not Prescott deserves the fight or whether he would get knocked out in three and that Khan shouldn't even bother because he's doing bigger and better things now, he should take it.

This happened in a very similar way to a guy who just got inducted to the HOF. Early on as a young, prospective champ with only about fifteen to twenty fights, he lost a brutal war by TKO in the tenth. After he came back, the other guy had lost his title and was doing nothing and going nowhere fast where the guy who lost was quickly regaining his form and beating much greater fighters, higher ranked fighters and looking bigger and better than ever. At the time, everyone scoffed at the idea of a rematch and said "What's the point?" but now, after all these years, so many people criticise him for not just taking a rematch and knocking him out.

We might all be saying "Why bother?" now, but years from now, people will be doing exactly the same thing. Morons saying "He never rematched that guy that knocked him out! PWN! LAMO! He sucks" and various other sad things like that.

Just for those ******s, I'd like to see Khan take on Prescott again because otherwise it will literally hang over him forever and his whole reputation will suffer, no matter how utterly pointless the fight is and no matter how completely useless it would be.

Khan boasting that he would stop Prescott in 3! But what if Prescott knock him in 1 or 2?

No matter how Khan would think how he would beat Prescott in Rematch,

He simply can't erase the ugly Knock out loss he humiliatingly suffered at the hands of Prescott!

Khan should simply move on and fight the winner of Bradley-Alexander fight!

It wouldn't be a difficult fight now. Khan should win with ease.

If he wants to fight Bradley/Alexander, then Mayweather, then another training camp for an easy fight like Prescott would do more harm than good.

He needs to fight better and more testing opposition than Prescott to prepare for those fights. That's why Peterson/Ortiz makes a lot of sense.

Although I agree with Khan that the move up in weight helped him and that he would most likely smash Prescott, the fact still remains that it makes him look ****** to talk smack about a guy that knocked him silly in under a minute......

Either rematch him and straighten it, or keep his name out of your mouth. One or the other......

maidana is way better than prescott though, Khan would stop him late on imo

especially if he throws as many punches as he did against maidana

Agree, Khan's on a different level now, that fight shouldn't even be mentioned.

There's business at 140, and history will reflect the Prescott situation accurately, in a similar vein to Pac's early losses. Irrelevant.

Prescott has the mind set to beat Khan. Don't under estimate someone who has already brutally been there and done the business before. Prescott would go all out in the first three rounds to KO Khan. Laughing my ass off those who think Khan would take Prescott out with eaze, as psychologically Khan is at a disadvantage.
