Marquez is been fighting top opposition while pac. has been fighting weight drain fighters, on top of that Paquiao could be juicing up. while Marquez is taking the hardest challenges al-natural, he would be the only who really deserves a payday.

Otherwise by your logic, Singsurat deserves more money then Pac if they rematch because he beat Pac
Marquez is a big draw, he will have a lot of Mexicans rooting for him, He is a bigger draw and deserves it more than Mosely!! He basicaly has a huge following and against Pacquiao they will buy the pay per views and go see that fight!!

Five mil is a joke for a man twice beaten by pacquiao.

Its not fair since GBP will also be getting 20% of Pac's purse. Pac will earn more if he fights Mosley because Mosley is more known in USA.

As said by William Munny & Snoop Pearson, "deserve has got nothing to do with it".

Margarito wasn't even licensed in most states, and hadn't won a meaningful fight in how long? Mosley hasn't won a fight since early 2009.

On how he's performed against Pacquiao, Marquez deserves about as much as Pacquiao. Two fights that could have reasonably gone either way. But it's about business. Always has been, and always will be.

How much would Pacquiao be demanding? Given how much Pacquiao fights have apparently been selling on PPV, and how much this would probably sell, $5 million doesn't seem all that unreasonable for a Marquez request.

                  Shut the **** up

Let Marquez move up in weight to fight a 'weight-drained' Cotto, Clottey, and Margarito in succession and then we can talk about who's been fighting tougher opposition. Katsidis and Diaz wouldn't last 3 rounds with Manny, but on the flip side Marquez gets crushed by Pac's opponents.

And the LA Times reported that Marquez wanted the $5 mil guarantee PLUS $5 for every PPV buy over 500K, which may or may not include a buyout or percentage deal for Golden Boy.
