It's a pointless excercise, I mean no way would I fight hopkins now, because if you beat him (calzaghe) he's old and shot, and if you lose (pascal) you're crap!

        I agree.

And it shows really poor form on Hopkins part to stick around so selfishly like this and hold the sport hostage.

People wonder why boxing is dead in America?

Its because the best we have to offer is a geriatric, boring, whiny racist wasteman who doesn't know he wore out his welcome long ago.

The thing about hopkins is that he's not shot.

Physically all i see is that his legs have degraded somewhat, but his style isnt about speed and athletiscism, its about craftiness, skill and experiance.

the fact is hes more experianced and crafty now than he was in his prime!

I think that might be true.

But to Hopkins' benefit, there aren't any "killers" at Light Heavyweight where those skills end up taking a back seat to a hard right hand landing flush on a 46 yr old Hopkins.

But he whipped Pascal's ass for sure.

Pascal has always been crap, and I said it before the Hopkins fight.

many people consider Hopkins to be Calzaghe's best win.
