I'm a big fan of Marquez but the fight really doesn't make sense anymore.. at least not at welterweight. We saw how badly Marquez delt with the weight against Mayweather. It wouldn't be a good fight.

The only way this fight would be interesting was if it was fought at 135-140.

Gawd damn we're like a bunch of spoiled ass kids. But most of us want to see intriguing matchups and the hot shot promoters in this sport don't care at all.

I'll watch Marquez-Morales and Pacquiao-Mosley but it's not my first, second, or even third choice.

I have followed both guys since that late 90's and I can say this with a straight face:

I'm just glad we saw both fighters face each once let alone twice. This could have easily been one of those matchups like Morales vs Marquez, Hamed vs Pacquiao, Hamed vs Morales, Tapia vs Mark Johnson, Hamed vs Marquez, or Tapia vs Pacquiao.....in which they were deamed as hot fights, and could have been made, but for one reason or another those fights never happened.

I use to follow those lower weight classes religously, and realize how fortunate we were to get those two bouts. I really think everyone needs to let this third fight go as it's not gonna happen, and move on.
