Am I the only one who finds Showtime > HBO?

I have started following Amir since 2007 and started watching boxing in 2008. I only used to watch big fights like Cotto-Margarito, Pacquiao-Hatton and etc.

But this year I have practically watched almost every fight. By doing this I got fronted by Showtimes coverage and I have to say I really enjoy watching boxing on Showtime. In fact, Showtime >>>> HBO.

I have watched several Showtime fights this year like JuanMa-Marquez, Bhop-Pascal, The Super Six ofcourse and some other fights.

And I have to say the commentators from Showtime do a much better job than the ones from HBO. The in-depth analysis is great and the overall event-experience Showtime gives, feels much better than HBO's.

On top of that Showtime's 360 >>>> HBO's 24/7. The 24/7 show really needs some changes in order to still appeal.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

I'd agree for this year. I think HBO only does bigger name fighters in the US to cater to rather than just give quality fights. Plus Showtime is much more consistent.

        24/7 > 360

By a long shot. 24/7 is beautifully crafted and produced, and provides more coverage than 360 IMO.

to me thats the difference between the two. i feel like 24/7 is just trying to win awards for production and hype ppv sales. i feel like 360 has more to do with boxing and caters to the hardcore fan.

            i prefer 360.

also, i voted equal. i dont pay attention to the commentary a lot of the time and i like to watch all the 'important' fights. so both channels are essential to me as a boxing fan

HBO wouldn't be that bad if it weren't for that ****** **** Kellerman who ruins it all

360 is much more insightful on boxing politics, all that is going on behind (usually) closed doors

Showtime has always been better, plus they have fights on friday night as well!!HBO has the bigger stars, but the quality of opposition has always been better on showtime!!The Punisher & Angulo were on showtime 1st!!Many fighters start on showtime, end up chasing the big money on hbo, then get shafted!!
