    • Manny winning his 8th in 8, by dominating the much larger Margarito...
    • Khan Khanquering his demons by surviving Maidana's power punching onslaught to win a hard fought decision over the Argentine bomber...
    • Giovani Segura's FOTY performance and KO win over undefeated Ivan Calderon...
    • Marquez' masterful dismantling of Michael Katsidis after nearly having his dome knocked off early in the fight...

It was a great year of boxing and these were just a few of the great performances of the year. Name some of the performances you would consider the "Most Impressive of the Year"...

          1-Martinez
          2-Montiel
          3-Segura
          4-Froch

Interestingly enough, these are the top candidates for fighter of the year. The smaller weight divisions get no respect, even by boxing writers, so Martinez will run away with it.

I'd say the best I have seen this year is the performance of Pacquaio against a much bigger Margo. The way he dominated Margo was simply superb. His very fast lateral movements while throwing punches bewildered a bigger opponent, and he was doing it the whole bout. It was classic.
