Dawson and Hopkins II will never happen for 2 reasons. The first is that Pascal will not retain the belt in his rematch with Dawson. Willing to bet on that one!! Hopkins will lose interest in Pascal after that bc he is not the champion anymore and he cant be the oldest man in history to win a title. Secondly it will take about 9 months to a years this fight to take place and time is not on Hopkins side. Even if they do decide to figh again they will then just argue about something ****** like the venue!! LOL

For Pascal's team, Jean need one more fight before the rematch with Hopkins, and Hopkins need to be older before they put their champ in the ring with him!!!

These guys on here talking like Hopkins just automatically needs to give Dawson a shot like Hopkins owes the dude something are out of bounds big time. For one thing, Hopkins fought a lot better and fought a more exciting fight against Pascal than Dawson did and therefore deserves the rematch a hell of a lot more but I understand rules are rules. Second of all, Dawson needs to fight a lot better in the second fight if he expects to win and I don't know if he's capable of doing that.

Now if Dawson does rematch Pascal and beats him convincingly, then he will have a case for deserving a shot at Hopkins. And even then, I'm not so sure Hopkins is gonna fight him. When he can go after the super six winner for a lot more money. I'm not making excuses on why Hopkins won't fight Dawson for one reason or another. But the guy is gonna be 46 soon, and he don't owe him jack shit. Chad needs to start being in half way exciting fights and start beating guys that are near his age category or nobody is gonna care about him.

then its jean vs chad 2 and after jean vs bernard 2, sounds like a plan. unless like someone said that if chad beats jean then bernard wont want to rematch jean. i guess we will have to wait and see how it plays out.
