    Julian jacksons power

Jus wow this guy hit so hard but my question is how? some of the knock outs he produced were when he was off balance or were glancing shots?
Did he do any special training ? to get this power or was he jus born with that power? hes 25th top 100 punchers but i think he shud be higher then that.

Someone check that negros gloves!? lool
Hes defo my fav fighter its a shame he didnt have a great chin otherwise he wuda been great.

'The Hawk' was one of my favorites growing up...even though he lit up my other favorite (Terry Norris)

as for the TS' question, the power came from his flattop...its the only reason why he had such freakish power

On the contrary , he was built like a big welterweight / small lightmiddleweight but fought at middleweight and was a fearsome contender and later champion there . His power and skills allowed him to do so. Also , his chin is underrated . McCallum didn't even put him down and he took loads of punishment against a much younger and bigger McClellan before succumbing eventually.
He is a bad example to the word chinny.

I'm pretty sure it was Jackson who caused McClellan's initial brain injury.

Jackson was just a natural puncher. Some guys just have natural power, like others have speed. If there was some secret special training to get power like that, there would be whole divisions full of guys punching like Jackson.

Just a ferocious puncher, man that guy could hit.

for his normal superhuman power, it came from his balance, great stance and balance, his hips rotating, and a proper torque from the shoulder.

and whenever he was effective off balance it was either the hip rotation with the shoulder torque or just the shoulder torque.

he had unreal power and his chin was decent, just he got hit by some heavy handed dudes, with punches that would've knocked anyone out, except his last one or so at the end of his career.

                one of my childhood favs.

Pure god given ability. Every so often people come long with freakish abilities and in terms of power he was at the peak.

I saw an interview with him once and he stated he never did any exercises to work on his power; he just had it.
