if dawson does get the rematch with pascal before hopkins, it plays into dawsons hands, i'm sure pascal has psychological damage form this fight, and it was physically taxing for him too, to go back to back and then back again to fight dawson, who has had time to rest up and study?? if dawson's head is right and still sharp enough, he's going to have a soften up pascal and will most likely get the win.

normally, if i was in shaws position i would normally have my fighter after a loss fight a tune up and get his focus back and let him take out some frustrations, but in this case, i think it is a good opportunity to go after pascal, pascal wont be able to duplicate the same kind of performance against dawson like he did last time. his style doesn't have any consistency to it anyways, he's always been rouge in a sense, a more wild and looser version of roy jones, maybe as well trained and conditioned as roy but not nearly as talented and gifted.

anyways, it would be good for dawson to jump on pascal if he can, not letting him have any rest and reprieve would be a good move.

This makes Jim Grey's badgering of Pascal look even more douchy than it otherwise was, since Grey's supposed to be a journalist and clearly didn't do his homework. Everybody who follows light heavyweight boxing knew about Dawson's rematch clause, and perhaps not surprisingly, Jim Grey did not.
