He got stopped in a uncompetitive fight against Joel Julio, but he would beat Cotto?

Cotto and Julio have similar styles, but Cotto is a level above him.

K-9 is a very strong Jr. Middleweight and has good athleticism, but he ran into a great matchup for him. Spinks was inactive, had no legs, and little pop, so he was just a sitting duck for someone to take his title, K-9 was good enough to do it.

DK is going to have to match him up properly for him to keep that title because he can lose it at any time.

the ibf have passed up on having cotto unify that belt anyway...

they didnt want margarito to unify with cotto and they didnt want clottey to unify with cotto

this would be a much better fight on the east coast than brainless powel wolak, except it would be hard to make seeing as emanuel steward trains both cotto and k9

Cotto should chose K9 over Wolak. his style is made to order for Cotto and is a more recognizable name. However for K9 to compare himseld to either Leanard or Hearns is an insult to both of them!
